How can I get a Marriage License in NYC?

Do you offer virtual services?
No. As of June 25th, 2021 virtual ceremonies have been canceled in New York State.
What is a secret wedding?
In a secret wedding, also known as an elopement, the couple is married without one in attendance. We provide a witness for your privacy if you prefer. It's exactly like a regular wedding with one exception: Nobody knows about it.
What is your fee to officiate a wedding ceremony?
The fee for both a secret and a last minute wedding ceremony is $200 and $250 if a witness is provided. The fee for a regular wedding is $250 (rehearsal included). All ceremonies include an initial free consultation to determine if you are comfortable with me as your officiant.
What is included in the above rates besides an initial free consultation?
The wedding workshop, the ceremony script with the love story, the rehearsal, are included. There is no workshop or rehearsal or love story in a secret or last minute wedding ceremony but it includes a ceremony script. All ceremony prices include the registration of the marriage license.
What is the wedding workshop?
In the wedding workshop, we meet to discuss your wishes for your ceremony, and you share your love story so it can be included it in the ceremony (if you wish).
What form of payment do you accept?
I accept PayPal, Venmo or Zelle. Full payment is due seven (7) days from the wedding date.

The wedding officiant registers the marriage license with the City Clerk's Office.
